Alzabreah has vowed to create a society where Olvidian women are not constricted to laws of marriage and servitude to men created by Society. After completing her lectures on the mainland as a way to show young women that life in her New Order is a much happier and more fulfilling one, she transports them all to an island away from the mainland where her ideals and genetic re-sequencing can commence without worry of interference from Parliament.

Becoming drunk with power over creating male drone’s specifically for love making and work detail for all women of the New Order, her sister Katayana discovers her diabolical ways and ends up paying with her life.

Mavra, a disciple of the high priestess Alzabreah, can’t help but feel that the New Order is not at all what she had hoped it would be. Although the ability to have mind blowing sex with beautiful drone’s is enticing, Mavra finds herself wishing for the love and passion that would already be growing with a non-genetically altered male.

Having already had several run- ins with Alzabreah over Mavra’s disobedience to the high priestess’s laws, Mavra finds herself falling in love with a drone by the name Thorpleen. When a murder is committed on the island and a drone is implicated as the prime suspect, Mavra discovers that it is her destiny to right the wrongs Alzabreah has committed and give the drone’s their free will.


Alzabreah’s Garden is another novel by author Gary Starta. Rich with erotic encounters, one can not be drawn away very easily from this delectable read. Filled with murder, suspense, erotica and romance, Mr. Starta does an impeccable job of creating memorable characters and a wonderfully visionary world. While I did find the technical aspects a little taxing, I was still hooked to the unique storyline and exceptional prose. Check out this book and others by Gary Starta at
