( ) This poetry of wrinkled rhymes by Alice Schertle and illustrated by Petra Mathers will delight readers with the humor of the clothes these animals wear and what the clothes have to say. The poems in this book are told from the point of view of the clothes, each new poem about a new article of clothing and a new animal that wears them. From galoshes and undies to a Halloween costume. Each poem is full of whimsy, humor, and fun that children will enjoy. These poems are told from the p.o.v. of the item of clothing featured (eg "Wanda's Swimsuit" and "Jack's Soccer Jersey". Very cute, and young kids will most definitely get the giggles. Each poem isn't just about the item of clothing but also lets us know a little about the wearer, like in the poem "Rick's Wool Sweater": "I make Rick twitchy". sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

The outfits in this book are brought to vivid life by Alice Schertle's wry poetry and Petra Mathers's exuberant cast of young animal characters. From Joshua's cozy jammies to Emily's frilly undies, the duds on display in this perfectly stitched poetry collection are as unique as the critters who wear them. .No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |
