Angelina is a former Secret Service agent. She finds herself being abducted by two men as they claim to be sent by her brother to pick her up. And it was only with the help of her brother's friend, David Lemming, that Angelina escaped and now has a chance to find Marcus.
You will travel across the Outback…and into the enemy's arms as Angelina races against time, because her brother isn't the only one in danger. Angelina's life, and her new friend David's life, and even her country are at rick. Through it all, Angelina learns to trust and depend on David, and discovers new things about her past that she must come to terms with and learn that forgiveness is a wonderful thing.
This story was full of action and adventure, mystery and intrigue. I liked how David treated Angelina and how easily he could irritate her, especially calling her by his nickname for her. They seemed at odds with each other a lot, but also seemed very attracted to each other too. This was book 3 in this series and I didn't feel like I was missing out on anything by not reading the first two books in this series, but would like to go back and see what I missed in books one and two.
