Book 1 was much more to my liking and much cheaper! I became intrigued by Damon's character in book 1 but was disappointed by his character in book 2. I expect much better than this for $9.99....and the next book is $11.99!! I should have stuck to my rule of never buying an overpriced book! I will absolutely not be reading book 3! I have read MUCH better for a lot less money! If all books cost this I would need to find another hobby. (

If you like BDSM, like D/s I think you are going to love this one. Maya banks knows that the mind is a sexual organ and she knows how to get everything fired up. When Damon fulfills Serena's fantasy to become a sex slave.

Pro mne vtipná postava Damona-majitele BDSM klubu. Podle prvniho dilu kazdou subku chce opsobne proskolit, protoze hleda Lasku. Jo, jasne a mezi protrelejma subinama ji nenajde, to az ve vanilce, co zjisti, ze neni vanilka, haha! Sebevedoma podnikatelka Serena ma touhu byt erotickou otrokyni a to ji Damon splni. 80% knihy je sex. Na to, jak jakoze Damon "to" u zdne nenasel a jake ma ona "perverzni sny", byl ten sex dost normalka teda:D (i kdyz doslo k bicovani, verejnemu sexu, spani v poutech, kleceni u nohou pracujiciho pana...takove ty romantarny pro cubky:D)
Libilo se mi, ze 20% byl pribeh, ktery nebyl jen o Serenine stupidite (jak to jinak nazvat, to okridleny "opoustim te, protoze te miluju" uaaa!), ale rozehrava se i pribeh jeji kamaradky Julie a jeji neschopnosti sbalit typka, po kterym jede. (

Another great read from Maya Banks! I love the genuine real-ness of Maya Banks' characters. The characters cover the basics of hygiene and safe sex, which is always a great addition to a realistic story. I love the strength that Serena has, she knows what she wants and isn't afraid to try and go after it. I also love the dark sensuality that exudes from Damon. He is sexy, amazing, and oddly vulnerable.

The plot is great, it is all about the characters and the story of this erotica is just as great as the sensual scenes throughout the book. I love the dark edge that the entire books carries, not an ominous darkness, more like an anticipatory darkness. Nothing else I can say. I love everything this lady writes!
