This is a cute story about two boy mice who have the same valentine and so they decide to create the biggest valentine ever for their special valentine! This is an adorable story that helps show how some people celebrate the holiday and how people create special valentines for the ones they love and some give presents and candy! This book does not explain or show why we have valentines day and does not express the history behind February 14th! This is a cute story for children to read but may not be the best book for teaching instruction. Summary: Clayton and Desmond want to make a Valentine for the same person so the decide to do it together and its doesn't work and the argue about everything. When the try making them on their own, they can't quite get anything right and decide to make one together again. It turns out to be the biggest mouse valentine anyone has ever made. I would use this book in probably k-6th grade, to teach working together, being tolerant of others ideas, and how to mix ideas together to make something great.
