Predictable, but surprising ending. ( )

The warriors series is an awesome trilogy that every cat lover should read! If you like Seekers or Survivors, try this as well! The names are an awesome addition too! ( )

As ThunderClan tries to find Sol to question him about Ashfur's murder, secrets are revealed that may rip ThunderClan apart.

I loved this book but it ends on a cliffhanger (at least for me--too many questions remain unanswered.) Will the prophecy be fulfilled? When? Why is Hollyleaf so full of anger and rage? With the secrets revealed, what will be the total fall out? I have to get series 4 to find out. My niece who got me hooked on this series will only give me one book at a time and will never give me a hint of what is to happen. UGG!!!!! ( )

Teen reviewer: Sunrise is as exhilarating as any of the books in the Warriors series. The distinctive feline character comes through despite the story being portrayed in the human world. Each cat stays true to the qualities from earlier books. Even so, if you haven't read another of the book, you can still get a sense of who the character is and the situations presented in the plot and the smaller story lines that are the driving force in the series.

Pros: Animal lovers and fantasy readers alike will be enthralled by the nonstop action, suspense, and humor. Warriors in general, and Sunrise in particular will entice anyone with a vivid imagination.
