I love Campbell's work, even this, but this is probably the poorest of her work. It just felt like an excuse to draw zombies and mutilation. Which can be fine, but isnt what i wanted. Still always fun to read. ( )

As always on works from Ross Campbell the artwork is beautiful in it's own grity/gothy way. The storyline may not have been so original (though you have to admit that's a tricky thing to do with zombie stuff) but I loved the characters and how real the dialogue was. They spoke like real teenagers with all the "yeah"s "um"s and "heh"s. I found some of the death scenes to be a tad gorey for my tastes but I am sure that they will delight those who love their zombies drenched in blood.
Overall I highly reccomend this to any zombie lover out there. ( )

This is a tale of friends banding together against the zombie hordes; not a new story by any means. The main character is a lesbian (probably the only twist to this tale) who is in young love. I liked that the characters were drawn as real people- the girls weren't all tiny little perky waifs at all. My major problem with the story is how short it was. This would have been better stretched into 3 volumes so we had time to truly get to know and like the characters and the plot could play out subtly. This is a wham, bam, thank you ma'm of a book- everything happens quickly and before you know it the book is done. If you're like me you will be left feeling unsatisfied.
Regrettably not reccomended although the artwork is refreshingly real. ( )
