Texas Traditions is all about the culture of Texas throughout the years. The Lone Star State has always kept its own unique culture. There are pictures and information on places in the state. Also, it has small biographies on important people who lived there over the years. I enjoyed reading it and learning about Texas culture. ( )

I liked this book because it discussed the diverse history of the area rather than just the American past. This book would be useful for learning about the history of the states. It is a wordy chapter book, so I would most likely use it for fifth graders.
