The main character, Ann who has red hair is a cute girl. She does not have family, so she was in the orphanage. However, one day, she send to farmer's house... This story is a little sad story. I remember my childhood. If I was small, I would want to be like Ann. This story is very famous,but I have not read this book. So I was excited by this. One old marriage couple live in one country, but they are old, so they need other's help. They decide to have an adopted child, a boy to help their work. However, in fact, a girl comes to their house, she is Ann. This story have a cute side, and a sad side. When I was reading this book, I remember and miss the adolescence of boys and girls.
