The TAB Electronics SUMO BOT kit is a tethered SUMO BOT that aims to provide users with a fun and challenging experimentation platform. While it can be used in competitions, the real goal is to provide users with a great jumping-off point to start to tinker with and develop the skills necessary to build their own bot from scratch. The SUMO BOT incorporates a Parallax Basic Stamp 2 (BS2), along with some new mechanical features that allow it to run over a greater variety of surfaces. It is also easier and less costly for customers to add their own electronic hardware.
