The illustrations in this full-size book are gorgeous and imaginative. Some bushes in the dark look like animals and a few trees look like dancing people.. The story is a little too preachy for me. The book is used as a vehicle to teach about light pollution. There is very little attempt to set this into any sort of interesting plot, just a bare-bones progression of everyone pointing night-time lighting downward where it is needed and not wasting it in an upward direction.
Enjoy the illustrations though, they are original and high quality. Children will love them I think. ( )
