Perhaps no one name has been as recognizable to Kentucky Baptists in the twentieth century as that of C. R. Daley. As editor of the Western Recorder for twenty-seven years, Daley became a familiar face and trusted friend in thousands of Baptist homes. His weekly editorials, Daley Observations, were both faithfully read and highly influential. He addresses the controversial issues spanning significant moments in American life and the Baptist world -- public issues which have profoundly affected all of American civil and religious life.
