A young man in his teens is transported from our world to a magical realm that contains seven levels of reality. Very quickly transformed by magic into a grown man of heroic proportions, he takes the name Able and sets out on a quest to find the sword that has been promised to him, a sword he will get from a dragon, the one very special blade that will help him fulfill his life ambition to become a knight and a true hero. Inside, however, Able remains a boy, and he must grow in every sense to survive the dangers and delights that lie ahead in encounters with giants, elves, wizards, and dragons. His adventure will conclude in the second installment of The Wizard Knight, The Wizard.
Me encantó este libro. Se hace un poco difícil al principio porque el narrador (que es en 1ª persona) y protagonista, alude a ciertos personajes como si ya los conociésemos, pero en realidad en la mayoria de los casos no aparecen hasta más tarde en el relato. Por ello, al principio de la novela, se ha incluído una lista de nombres, que irán apareciendo a lo largo de la historia, con una breve descripción, para poder hacerse una idea de a qué se está refiriendo.
El transfondo es soberbio, pero no llegas a disfrutarlo hasta que entiendes que existen varios mundos dentro de otro. Son como dimensiones, superpuestas, a las que se puede bajar o subir. Bajar a una de esas dimensiones (o mundos) es mas sencillo que subir a una de ellas y que el tiempo transcurrido en una dimensión (o mundo) es inferior al tiempo transcurrido en los mundos superiores a él.
Es complicado de entender al principio pero una vez asentados esos conceptos, se hace una novela la mar de interesante, divertida y llena de emoción.

Es complicado de entender al principio pero una vez asentados esos conceptos, se hace una novela la mar de interesante, divertida y llena de emoción.
La recomiendo sin lugar a dudas. (
