this was a favorite movie of mine growing up so I finally decided to get the audiobook to listen to the book. Wonderfully read by Vanessa Maroney. ( )

I'll admit that I picked this up because I love Alfonso Cuaron's version of the Little Princess. Not too surprising that the book is better than the movie (and it's a wonderful movie). Both stories are about children finding their way and growing up a bit. A wonderful read. ( )

I've read The Secret Garden, which is one of my all-time favorites, but never A Little Princess. My hope is that it is as enchanting as the The Secret Garden.
