This is a very good informational book about volcanoes, how they are formed, where they occur, and the damage they cause. Depending on what grade I am teaching this could be a great book to show my students. The text gradually gets longer and longer but still has a lot of great images that relate to the text. I can use this book to inform students on what volcanoes are and how they happen. Non-fiction.

This is a great descriptive book that shows pictures of volcanoes as well as explaining what they are. It also describes the location of many different volcanoes. It is informative in knowing all the different types of volcanoes and the locations of them. It also is very descriptive so it will build vocabulary. It would be a great book to introduce volcanoes to a class and show them cool pictures of them as well. This is an example of an informative book. ( )
