One and half stars-
I was surprised by the overwhelming boring and far from interesting writing this book had to offer. It came a complete shock regarding the book is on Salvador Dali, a very eccentric, bizarre, and controversial figure. The book is extremely easy to read but the writing just did not flow, I believe the organization or the layout of the book could have been better...there were many sections in the book that hardly spoke of Dali, such as sections on Hitler and the Spanish Civil War. Since the content of the book was bland, I was hoping for a lot of pictures and paintings but that not the case, I was disappointed with the lack of pictures and paintings. I would not recommend this book to any serious art lover or a fan of Dali, there are far better books with better content and pictures. This book is for someone who is just beginning their path of art appreciation, and the book can be well suited for young middle school students...I would not recommend this book for anyone in high school....
