Summary: This book is full of origami projects. It takes you step by step on how to make everything from greeting cards, holiday ornaments to even jewelry. The projects are well organized for easy searches.

Personal: My son loves origami and can sit for hours with books like this one. There is something for everyone between its covers. I never knew you could make jewelry from paper.

Classroom Extensions:
Social Studies: Origami originated in Japan. A study of the country, people, and its culture would tie in easily.

Math: Besides the obvious directions lesson, you can have students make one of the more geometrical projects. What shapes did they see while making it and after it is finished? Might even graph the different shapes and how often they appear. ( )
