Exactly what it says and a bit more. Divided into three parts this starts with Getting Started which has all the basic skills and then moves into Finishing techniques - the bulk of the book and then Projects which starts with a basic pattern and then shows ways in which it can be modified. The illustrations are straightforward and clear and often use a contrast yarn to highlight techniques. I found this one so useful that I suggested that the libraries invest in a copy and I still regularly reference it. It's clear and concise and while not as comprehensive as some others of it's type would be suitable for a beginner/intermediate knitter starting to stretch their wings. The suggestions for fixing errors would be also good for beginners. Advanced knitters might find this one a little simple but as a quick reference it's clear and well-indexed. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
Once again knitting is at the forefront of popular crafts and leisure time activities. Today, however, people turn to it not simply as a money-saving activity, but also as an opportunity to exercise their creativity, produce something original to wear or use, and do something relaxing and therapeutic away from the regular stresses and strains of modern life.
