The story is well thought out, the characters are not one dimensional, but feel fully formed and I thoroughly enjoyed following along with them all. ( ) Alexander Smith was a success at corporate takeovers, but not content. He tried to escape by visiting his sister, Elizabeth, and her medieval husband Jamie. She is struggling to hold onto her land, and suspicious of Alex, but he gradually wins her trust. Jamie and Elizabeth show up looking for Alex just as he and Margaret are about to be married. Alex plans to stay with Margaret in her time, but he takes Margaret back to his time just for a visit. When she realizes all he would give up for her, she goes back to her own time alone, and Alex can't travel through time just by wishing. Margaret returns to find that her enemies have set fire to her home. When she sees her life destroyed and her people scattered, she realizes her neighbor would be better suited to care for them. She finds her own way back to Alex in his time. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
