A great children’s book about knights & their times! ( )

A profile of medieval knighthood describes the skills, armor, and weapons utilized by knights and includes brief retellings of stories about such famous knights as Sir Lancelot and Saint George.

I had mixed feelings about this book. I enjoyed reading this book because it was informative with pictures labeled and explained the process of how someone becomes a knight. It will say things like, “Next the page became a squire. A squire practiced handling weapons and became a skilled horseman.” This gives the audience an interesting way of thinking about the process. I also enjoyed the book because at the end of the book it had famous knight and dragon legends that were easy to read. I disliked the book it is not a subject that is very engaging for me to read so it was boring for me to read with the way it lists the steps, and hard for me to get through it, but for someone who is interested in the this topic would enjoy this book. The main message of this book is to give the reader a background on how someone becomes a knight, and how long of a process it can be, which helps readers get a better understanding of the subject.
