MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK
Glimpses of God: an autumn devotional for women is a beautifully written book for women that gives us Devotions that will help in our everyday lives during the Fall season.

Each day, we find a devotion that includes a Bible verse, a story, and devotion that goes along with the scripture verse for the day. I find that these devotions go with each day pretty well, and it is essential that we learn the verse that goes with each day’s devotion. Starting each day with a scripture verse is so valuable. I am giving this devotional Five Stars, and I encourage you to read through this book each day.

A special thanks to the author/publisher for a copy of this book. I am not required to write a positive review, the opinions here are mine alone. I am disclosing this with my review in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s 16 CFR, Part 255. ( )

As I get older, I find myself enjoying the Autumn season more and more. I love the beautiful colors, the weather that is especially pleasant, and the opportunity to slow down a little after the busy days of Summer. This new book by Shirley Crowder and Harriet E. Michael focuses on this special season and I consider it a nice addition to my personal worship time. Glimpses of God: An Autumn Devotional for Women has 65 devotions that are meant to be enjoyed during the 13 weeks of the Fall season. They are written in an easy, conversational style but they're filled with life lessons and spiritual nuggets. Each day's selection offers Bible scripture, a short story or observation, a prayer prompt, and a thought for the day.

I'm always glad to learn of new resources to help me strengthen my Christian walk. I recommend this book to all who enjoy devotionals.

I received a digital copy from the publisher via Celebrate Lit. There was no obligation for a positive review. ( )

Glimpses of God: an autumn devotional for women by Shirley Crowder and Harriet E. Michael is the perfect fall devotional. This devotional is broken down into sections, with five devotionals in each one. Containing devotions, Scripture references, and prayers, this book provides the perfect backdrop for the change in seasons that comes with fall. As part of a devotional series that is set around the different seasons, I loved reading this one.

It is the perfect quick addition to my Bible reading time. While it is not theologically challenging, there is much to learn from it. I loved how the two authors included their life experiences in this devotional.

So, if you are looking for a great fall devotional for yourself or to do with a group, check out Glimpses of God: an autumn devotional for women by Shirley Crowder and Harriet E. Michael for yourself.

I received a complimentary copy of this book, but this in no way influenced my review. All opinions are my own. ( )

I have really enjoyed reading this devotional for the autumn season. It pertains to the changing seasons of our lives as well as the seasonal changes in the air. It contains 13 chapters with five days in each one. Each day gives you a scripture reference to read, a short story, a prayer, and a thought for the day. I have taken this to my Bible study group several times to share that day as it pertained to what we were studying. It is a well rounded devotional that I recommend making part of your daily reading this season. It well deserved being a winner of the Ames Award.
I received a complimentary copy from CelebrateLit. The honest review and opinions are my own and were not required. ( )

: It was conscientious of the author to write this devotion to be read in the fall, when the earth and our bodies are preparing for the change in seasons. Each day's devotional begins with a Bible verse and a quote, then moves on to a brief story, a prayer, and a thought for the day. focused on women. The best way to start the day is by giving oneself some spiritual food for thought. There are two to three pages each day. Nothing too intellectual, just an incredible way to brighten your spirits and start the day.

Disclosure of Material Connection: I requested and received a copy of this book from the publisher. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
