Life happens. Sometimes we need a good listener to help us sort out our emotional response. Bill Castle was one of those people. With a hopeful spirit and an engaging personality, he had made more that a thousand hours of hospital visits for Mended Hearts, Inc. and had spent many, many more hours as a Stephen Minister and a member of his church's Pastoral Care Team. In that time he had listened to hundreds of people share their fears, needs and observed how they were coping. So when he was faced with lymphoma himself, he chose to use poetry, a life long hobby, as his way of expressing his feelings. "My Journey Thru "L" chronicles the day by day, ups and downs of living with chemotherapy, and highlights the need for humor, support and a faithful spirit. It is also something of a love story. Bill saw this book as "the lemonade from his lymphoma". It offers insights and information to anyone facing the same journey.
