There's no kitten, and the feathers are only colored to be pretty; they aren't really so because they're just pillow stuffing. Good Rabbi story - but it belongs in a collection by [a:Isaac Bashevis Singer|14444|Isaac Bashevis Singer|http://photo.goodreads.com/authors/1207601074p2/14444.jpg] rather than here. ( ) I thought that this book was a really good way to start talking about a difficult topic like lying. It compared not being able to catch feathers after they have flown out of a pillow to not being able to take back words you say after you say them. This was a really good lesson to teach children and it was taught in a very short and straight forward manner which is great for younger children. The point of view was mainly from the girl who was lying and I thought that this was interesting because it showed how her thinking changed after learning her lesson. The illustrations were really fun and colorful although I still do not know why there was a cat on the cover of the story, but I really enjoyed the illustrations throughout the book. They really made you feel as though you were in a different culture and even taught you some things about the Jewish culture. I thought that this book was a good was to teach an important lesson to young children and was presented to them in a great way. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
