If you’re wondering about the legacy you will leave, read this book. This is a book that will make you reassess your priorities and it might make you change your ways. It might even enrich your life before it’s too late. Five wondrous stars, I can’t recommend it enough. Thank you Mitch for sharing Morris with us. We are forever grateful to you. ( ) If I had to describe this book in one word, it would be "inspirational". This memoir was very emotional and touching. It makes you look at your own life and think about where you are, what you've done, and what you want to become. Most of us are too caught up in our personal goals to "have more".... This is not a book I would normally read (it was selected for our book club), but I enjoyed it nonetheless. I like the way it's put together and there are certainly some great nuggets about how one should view life (and death) and what's really important. "Tuesdays with Morrie" is about an older former professor of sociology who get ALS, and his reunited friendship with a former student, the author Mitch Albom. Some of Morrie's observations about life and death are thought provoking and poignant, but at the same time, maybe only applicable to someone in his state. Sure, we should all hold on to relationships that are good and enjoy beauty in small things, but like it or not, responsibilities get in the way so those important things often get pushed to the back burner. It sucks, but it's reality. I think this is a good read if for no other reason that it should encourage you to imagine how your outlook would be if you were, God forbid, stricken with something as horrible as ALS. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
