A very interesting book written from the point of view of various people in the Star Wars universe. Not necessarily a book on the conceptual design of the Star Wars look, but rather almost a sociology book. The chapters go around to various planets (all from the original trilogy) and are written from the perspective of explorers, sociologists, aliens, governmental employees, etc. It has a very "you are living in this universe" type of feel, as oppose to, "this is what the writers and producers wanted Star Wars to look like". It contains a great deal of the original artwork by famous Star Wars conceptual artist Ralph McQuarrie. His work really adds a unique and in-depth visualization to what you're reading. Overall, it's a unique look at the worlds and cultures of Star Wars and provides insight that you wouldn't get from simply watching the films. Read it during my childhood and still have it today. ( ) A pleasure to read for Star Wars fans. Divided in to several chapters all taking place on different planets from movies ie Dagoba, Tattoine, Yavin 4, etc. All are written from different perspectives. The Tattoine for example is written from the point of view a shaping-shifting sociologist. The Dagoba is told as a journal of a exporation team sent out in the late days of the Republic. It was well-written and the illustrations throughout the book were beautiful in my opinion. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
