This is a wonderful story for young children. The story is fun and the illustrations are fantastic. The story and the pictures work well together. I really like Doctoroo and her many friends. I love that this story teaches about the food pyramid in a really fun way. I received a copy of this book from the publisher for a fair and honest opinion that I gave of my own free will. ( )

I really like the fun way the Doctoroo series encourages good habits and manners in children. They are a fun way to stress positive choices into young, developing minds. Doctorooo and the Picnic Pirates is a great book, emphasizing good eating habits. It is also a great book for children in the United States to enjoy, especially near to and during the Fourth of July celebration.

The Illustrator, Irina Dringova, did a fantastic job with her illustrations.The caricatures and scenes are very well depicted. The colors are brilliant. These features truly enhance the enjoyment of the book.

I am looking forward to reading the next Doctoroo book in the series!
