Marc Quinn, one of the Young British Artists who came to prominence in the 1990s, produces a diverse range of work, much of which is preoccupied with the changing physical states of the human body. Increasingly, his work addresses ideas around mortality and survival in the age of genetic manipulation. This book, which contains two extensive interviews with Quinn, accompanies an exhibition held in early 2002 at Tate Liverpool. It features a large body of exciting new work, including painting, sculpture, drawing, and photography. The artist has been closely involved in the development of this book, handwriting all the captions and picturing his baby son on the jacket. No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |
