Indexed for easy find of specific info on deductions and credits. It is very comprehensive but from the 1001 tax breaks claimed, maybe 10% will apply to most taxpayers. Examples are easier to understand than in other tax books. It is a good reference book, but you need to know what you are doing. The book's tone is very dry, and it feels like a summary of the tax code....yawn.
The book doesn't seem to change much from year to year. The publisher hasn't spent any time or money to improve it. There is too much bold text; the pages are printed on poor quality paper; there is no good hierarchy of headings; it is hard to tell which subsections are under what benefit. ( )
