I hear people are complaining that the redesign doesn't include half star ratings. I'm normally fairly decisive but I'm wavering here between 4, but ultimately I could have put it down and forgotten about this at any point. Lovely characters though, and I felt like I really knew each of them despite such a big cast! Benjie, Olga and Amber were such delights. Listened on audio and really came around to Katherine Press's voice. ( ) This was all that I love in a Jill Mansell novel - characters that are people you wish you knew in real life and happy resolutions to challenging situations. The novel centers on Amber, Lachlan, and Raffaele who all become family when they live as foster children with Teddy and his wife. As adults they are still close and it is just lovely watching them navigate challenges and find love. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
What happens when falling in love makes everyone around you go bonkers? Amber Nicholls, Lachlan McCarthy, and Raffaele Wright grew up as foster kids in Teddy Penhaligon's seaside home and have forged a bond tighter than glue. When they get the news that Teddy's met someone while on vacation, they'll do anything to protect him from a presumed gold-digger-even if she seems lovely and charming. Is she fooling them all? Or is she spurring them to uncover their own secret loves? "Uplifting, heartwarming, and supremely feel-good."-SOPHIE KINSELLA, #1 New York Times bestselling author, for It Started with a Secret "Gripping and incredibly comforting."-MARIAN KEYES, #1 international bestselling author, for It Started with a Secret "Engaging and enchanting."-Woman's World for Maybe This Time.
