Paradise Lost - An interesting counterpoint to Milton's epic poem Paradise Lost. Paradise Regained is written in a different poetic style and is concerned with a simple dialogue between Jesus and Satan; although I had assumed - prior to reading - that this poem would encompass the passion of Christ I found that it is dedicated to depicting the Temptation of Christ. A worthwhile read both for cultural and spiritual reasons. ( )
