A decent follow-up to In His Own Write. However, it seems less focused than its predecessor (which is strange, as the first was rather confusing itself). Nevertheless, some of the story ideas are more developed than those in the first book. If that seems contradictory, then welcome to the curious mind of John Lennon. ( )

Pick it up and meander through it - it's seriously weird in places, but wonderfully poignant in others. Written by someone who likes playing with language. ( )

If I hadn't bought this as a teen-ager with a serious crush on the Beatles, I probably wouldn't give it a second look these days. The text is full of tedious obfuscation for the sake of seeming witty. The drawings are reminiscent of other, better artists of his day. ( )
