My favorite of the six stories in the Forward collection, The Last Conversation is told from the second person "you" perspective. While it's hard to pull that off, Tremblay uses it to very good effect. There's much you don't know about yourself in this story, and much we as readers don't know either, which leaves us guessing until the very end. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

3.5
Maybe even like 3.75, just short of actually hitting a 4, mostly because I've been on a roll lately, and predicted the big twist reveal of this book by about 1/3 to 1/2 of the way through this book, too. The slow lead up was good work, but I think what I loved best was the creepy reveal through the obvious physical decline (and the moment one of our characters broke down on the "no" that's been haunting her every single time).
