Okay, I will admit I do judge a book by its cover and this look eerie and atmospheric so I grabbed it. Bad decision! I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 only because it started out with promise but it devolved into senseless and illogical in the last third of the book. The resolution was supposed to be shocking I guess but it was merely bizarre and nonsensical. At least it was short! ( )

This was a really good book. Super easy read and very fast paced. The big twist definitely took me by surprise, I did not expect it at all. Another great read, brought to us by Kiersten Modglin. Well written and attention grabbing, this is not the tale you expect. I gave this book 4 out of 5 stars. ( )

Wow! Once again, Ms. Modglin leaves you staring at the last page, with your mouth agape, muttering to yourself "I never saw that coming!"

I loved this one! I was kept guessing all the way through! I shouldn't be surprised though. I've been kept guessing until the very end with every book this author has written, and every time I am floored!! I will tell you, I came to strongly dislike Bryant and if you read this story, you'll know exactly when and why I did. Another royal masterpiece from the Queen of Twist and Turns!! ( )
