Ducks (Gail Gibbons) NY: Holiday House: 2001 Informational: Primary: 32 PG Summary: This book talks about ducks. It shares different species, types, and colors. The ducks are generally shaped the same and have their feet towards the back of their bodies, causing them to waddle. Critique: Very cute! This book pairs simple facts with colorful pictures. Each fact is clear and short making it easy to read. Activity (After): What is something you learned about ducks? This book teaches children everything they need to know about Ducks. I think this is a great book to use in a science class when learning about ducks, because the book provides easy language and good illustrations for children. The illustrations are done in a way where there are lines provided to teach children what each part of the duck is called and used for. The book provides plenty of information on all the different types of ducks there are, and how they use their bodies to get around, and how they communicate with one another. I think this book is very educational while put in a way that children will understand. Very great book, I would definitely use this in a classroom setting. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
