Born to a wealthy family, Francis never had to worry about making ends meat. His mother planted a seed of generosity in his heart, and taught him to give to others who didn't have much. Francis' father was greedy, ad did not appreciate Francis'' need to give to other people, and later kicked him out. Francis felt the call of God, and ventured off to fulfill his calling. He joined a monastery, and lived a joyful life, helping all who was in need. He had a love for animals, and became the patron saint of animals. The illustrations in the book were vivid and wonderfully done. This is a good biography that gives an insight into the life of a saint. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
