There's so much happening in this novel that you can't skip a page, as you'll end up re-reading to ensure you don't miss a word. It's grabbing with enough dirt, yet appealing to the heart with soft considerate touches. You can't lose in the story, and it's written well enough that you can start the series with Crossed Expectation, then read Good Guys Finish Last and When Love Evolves in that order.
