Book Love is a sweet and fun graphic novel that perfectly encapsulates what being a book lover is all about. It's filled with anecdotes and quips that are wonderfully relatable as a fellow book lover. While reading this, I kept thinking to myself, "Yep, that's me!" Not only that, it acts as an explanation for those around us book lovers who wonder about our weird habits and quirks. It also has lists and fun tips - different places to read books, how to get out of a slump, and others.

Tung eloquently describes why book lovers love books so much - from the way they act as an escape, to enjoying a beautiful cover. I could relate to every page, and I could easily see myself reading it again and again because of that. ( )

Das "Quiet Girl in a Noisy World" beschreibt in wieder liebevoll gezeichneten Comics, welche Fluchten Bücher bieten können.
Nicht nur zu Hause auf dem Sofa kann man sich mit einem Buch gut einkuscheln, auch unterwegs bietet ein Buch die Möglichkeit, sich gedanklich an einen anderen Ort zu bewegen und die gerade etwas nervige Umgebung auszublenden, sei es im Wartezimmer, im Bus oder im Zug oder auch auf einer Party, auf der man sich fehl am Platz fühlt.
Manchmal geht es aber auch einfach nur darum, ein schönes Buch in die Hand nehmen zu können oder den Geruch von neuen Büchern einzuatmen. Denn nicht nur die abgedruckte Geschichte ist ein Grund, ein bestimmtes Buch zu kaufen.

Wer Bücher liebt, wird sich hier sicher in dem einen oder anderen Comic wiederfinden. ( )

This is a comic strip focused on reading for book lovers. I identify with many of the cartoons, but it is a little excessive. One needs balance, while the subject of book love in these strips comes before everything else in her life. Too extreme for me, yet I wanted to share many of the strips with friends and book lovers. ( )
