The most important recipes in it for me are the Whole Wheat Muffins (with variations) and the Whole Wheat Creme Puffs (other recipes just don't work for me. These do.) Nikki and David Goldbeck have been publishing books on health and nutrition since 1972, including The Supermarket Handbook, American Wholefoods Cuisine, and The Goldbeck's Guide to Good Food (all available in Plume paperback). Nikki is a practicing nutritionist and food educator who, since 1984, has held workshops for those struggling with illnesses such as heart disease, diabetes, cancer, and obesity. Nikki and David Goldbeck have been writing about consumer issues, health, and nutrition since 1972. They are the authors of The Supermarket Handbook and American Wholefoods Cuisine, (available in Plume editions), among other books. Nikki Goldbeck is a practicing nutritionist and food educator who holds workshops for people with heart disease, diabetes, cancer, and obesity. The Goldbecks live in upstate New York.
