And it remains intriguing.
The Penguin of Death invites you into his palace and provides tea and biscuits (as any well bred penguin would) before he sings to you, a wild and haunting song at the climax of which you experience great peace... shortly followed by death via method 412.
Bizarrely, that's not at all strange or scary. It has the feel of a welcomed euthanasia about it, you are complicit in the penguin's actions. All in all a great philosophical treatise presented as a sweetly illustrated book about a penguin with strange powers. ( )
