However, while I liked the first 10% and how they met, it was downhill from there. I'm trying to be a little nicer for myself this year and that also means that I'm kind of done forcing with forcing myself to finish books that I don't enjoy. I don't owe it to anyone to finish it and when I'm already rolling my eyes and skimming pages at 20%, I might as well throw in the towel and save myself some time. I think this is a massive case of it's not you, it's me. I've not really been a fan of earlier books by this author and I think we might just be a bad match. It happens. By all means give the book a try for yourself 😊 I have a tendency to dislike books everybody loves, so this may very well be a hit for everyone else. XO, Zach by Kendall Ryan (Audiobook) Narrated by Sebastian York and Andi Arndt 3 Stars - This book was pretty good. I liked the premise, however from the summary I was hoping for more letters/poems than there was. Zach and Poppy had good banter between each other and the story moved along nicely. Both narrators did a wonderful job as usual. ~ Paragraphs and Petticoats ~ sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
From New York Times bestseller Kendall Ryan comes a *steamy forbidden standalone romance.* The first time we met was at a party. Your ex arrived to show off the person he'd left you for last month, and you asked me to pretend to be your date. I was more than happy to help. You were attractive, smart and witty--and that kiss we shared? It left me wanting you for days. The second time we met was in my office on campus where we were both surprised to discover you were the new master's degree student in poetry that I would be working with. You promised to be professional. I did no such thing. The late nights and intense study sessions spent alongside you majorly throw me off my game. I want you, and I fight with myself daily over this fact. I know I'm crass, that my sexual innuendos and dirty mouth annoy you, but I live for those two bright spots of color in your cheeks. If that's the only reaction I can get out of you, I'll gladly take it. You hate Mondays so every Monday I slip an anonymous poem into your bag and your smile gets me through the week. I think I'm falling for you, and I know it's wrong. I know that I'm only supposed to be the adviser to your program and nothing more, but here's the thing. I think you're falling for me too. xo, Zach. No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |

As a side note, Zach's mom was pretty hilarious. (
