A fun mix of magic, British mythology/history and police bureaucracy, with entertaining characters. Probably not a great place to start on this series, but it wraps up a long running plot and has a lot of good moments. I especially liked the scene where the protagonist is captured and befriends one of the captors, and the final showdown with the big bad guy.
