Our anti-hero is getting shit thrown at him fast and furious, and I love how the story's progressing. As well as the story, the art is amazing. If I have any complaints it's this: I hate the look of the main character. He looks like such an average nerdy dweeb. I don't need chiseled handsomeness, but...ah, maybe it's just me. Still, a great series. Get on it. The story is kind of depressing, the tone is depressing, and the art is depressing. What I mean for the art, is that it's dark, and brown, with alot of inked area. Yes, that's the usual style of Sean, but I admit I am getting tired of it. He's not evolving relly in his art. Anyway, when you finish a book and your first reaction is "about time", it's not good. After loving Brubaker and Phillips' Velvet series I found myself wondering what they were up to now. So I went to Image Comics and saw Kill or Be Killed and The Fade Out - the later will have to wait for another day. This is quite possibly my favourite Brubaker series. The writing is tight and gritty, but not without flourish. The art is spot on - even if Kira resembles Velvet Templeton. And it is clear the rest of the series is going to wallow in moral and ethical ambiguity dilemmas. If I'm picking the twist correctly, then this is going to be a killer ending. Bring on Volume 3. NB: read the instalments for Vol 2 as they came out, hence the early review. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

As a task force is assembled to hunt him down, Dylan finds himself falling further into the darkness of the twisted pact he made with the demon"--Back cover.
