In the African savannah, the sun makes all the animals lazy but when the sun starts to set the animals come together peacefully to drink from the watering hole. During this time the animals make a song together whether it be their hooves thumping on the dry ground or roars from energized lions. I read this to a Pre-K 4 class and they enjoyed the animated sounds that each group of animals made and the beautifully done illustrations. ( )
