This book is an informational picture book about the many different bones that we have in our body. It walks through what each of the bones do for our body, where they are located, and the different terms that go along with that bone. I like this book because not only are the illustrations great, but it also includes activities and crafts to go along with the different bones that are talked about. This book would be good when introducing the human body and looking at the different bones in our body and what they do for us. This is also a great book to have the kids interact throughout the reading as it talks you through different ways to feel the different bones in your body. ( )

This book also includes simple activities and crafts like Terrific Tendon, Muscle Motion and a muscle memory cup game with how-to photos to further engage young learners. Aligned to Common Core Standards and correlated to state standards. I will use it for elementary school students. ( )
