I love this book. It is so much fun and kids will love it. ( )

I really did enjoy this story about the little boy looking at the insects as aliens. One of the things I enjoy most, is that they put the English in one color, and the Spanish in another. I really wish more bilingual books would do this. I teach and English kindergarten and a Spanish kindergarten, and I constantly have to tell kids which sentences in my bilingual books they need to read. Color cues would be so helpful! I use this tactic in my room and wish literature would do the same thing, at least in the bilingual leveled readers!

The story brings the idea of aliens "down to earth" in a way that encourages exploring. The dark illustrations complement the theme very well.
