Attention all Teachers, Home-schoolers, and parents. This is a simple, "to the point" beginning reader's book on the first Black man to graduate from an Iowa University. He was best known for his agricultural talents but also invented things and was an artist and a teacher. Here is a man who is truly a marvel and deserves this honor.

The book also touches on what the nation was like during the years he lived. It contains easily retained trivia in aiding history lessons.

At the end of those short book, it has two pages of question and answer exercises for the very young child. The pictures are remarkable and are on every page. The colors are bright and the quality of the book is excellent.
