Quirky and cute.

comic short stories, for fans of Sara Varon (including glimpses into her creative process). ( )

This book is a collection of comics drawn by Varon when she was just starting out, and include the story Sweater Weather. Before each comic varon tells the reader what she was thinking or why she drew what she did, or the reason she used certain medium. In all honesty, I found this book rather boring. Not the Varon books that have grown so popular. Very much an artist trying to find her voice. ( )

I feel so undecisive . Every week I take books home and write a review that says something like "this is my favorite book"....well, this is my new favorite book. At least for this week.
A collection of stories in comic form by the author and illustrator Sara Varon. I loved seeing how her style remains, but her drawin skills grow throughout the years. She gives a little introduction note before each stoy about what the inspiration was, when it was made or where was she when she sketched it.
Her stle reminds me of The Knuffle Bunny by Mo Willems, who I really enjoy. ( )
