Unplugged is the first book in the Wired series. It started with Rain Holt’s dad giving a message to the app world. The border between world are closing and Skyler wants to go home, but all of the other singles (under 18’s) are glad. They are the last singles there. Rain’s girlfriend is trying to do anything in her power to get Rain back. Maybe Rain doesn't want to go back though. Once Skyler gets to the real world, she thinks that there is one last app running through her code so when she sees people trying to test her, she realizes that she needs to flee. Thinking it’s a code she kills a man that's trying to stop her. Her keeper takes her so that she can learn how to walk and talk. Then she is taken to the singles home this is where she meets Rain Holt. then she is captured and learns that her own sister Jude wants to kill her. At the party Skyler meets her mom for the first time in years. Rain sets up a plan to get Skyler back. It works. Then the book ends
Unplugged was a decent book. It was the first book that I have read in years that wasn't romance, so it was a change. I liked the story line, but I think that it could have been written differently. It still had good characters and the characters had good personalities. I liked that she made an app world because the way the world is going today there might just be an app world in 2060 ( )
