Major character development in the third book, not sure how I feel about it, but I'm excited for the next. Oh yeah, things got way worst than the previous books. ( )

ABR's original Extinction Age audiobook review and many others can be found at Audiobook Reviewer.

Nicholas Sansbury Smith’s Extinction Age is another thrilling action packed ride as Beckham, Horn, and his crew are sent to reclaim New York City in Operation Liberty. Operation Liberty fails leaving most of Beckham’s team trapped in the dark sewers surrounded by deadly variants. There they discover what the variants do with their “food.”

Returning to Plum Island, the safest place on earth right now, Beckham is sent to recover supplies from a wrecked naval destroyer – overrun with original variants. Dr. Kate Lovato’s head is spinning. Struggling against time, her and her team discovers a cure, otherwise known as the superman drug that can end all variants. The question is – who will get this cure?

The human race has entered the extinction phase of their existence worldwide. Who is running Plum Island now and calling the shots? Who will be saved? Who will die?

The variants are mutating and they are even deadlier now that there food supply is dwindling. Extinction Age is an action-packed non-stop adventure. Just when you thought it was safe … and Kate has a secret!!

Exciting and well developed plot and characters keep the story line moving. Relationships are well thought out and plenty of those “you love to hate’em” types who get their just desserts!

Bronson Pinchot does an excellent job performing. I love the seamless flow of dialogue between characters and narration. His voice is perfect with the right amount of inflection and delivery is perfect.

There were no production issues. The audiobook was professionally produced.
