This is another great motivational book by Joel Osteen! Pastor Joel teaches on 8 principles to help you reach your goal and brings you into a bold level of faith.

He encourages you to take limits off God and yourself. He does an excellent job of instilling confidence.

His teachings address the individual more than his circumstances and I love it! At times, Joel writes as if he’s speaking directly to you and giving a dose of tough love (in a kind way, of course).

This book makes you self-reflect and gently nudges, encourages and motivates you to take another step toward your goal. After reading this book, you will surely feel as if you can accomplish your goals and have everything God has for you! ( )

As always Joel writes books that encourage , give us hope and helps us strive for excellence. With this book as his others the theme is always positive and uplifting. He is a great motivator and champion for God.
In the book he gives you eight steps to help you become more focused and grow as you achieve what you are called for.

Have a positive mind set
Commit to excellence
Keep growing
Serve others
Stay passionate
These steps are great and help you by following a guide to reach your goal. Each one is attainable by prayer and determination. I love his positive attitude which is infectious. Don't we all want to be better people? Isn't it easier to stay positive when you have others to stand beside you?

A winner should not give in to negative thoughts, and even not associate with those who are negative influences. Avoid those negative anchors, because they are likely impeding your drive to achieving great things.

The classical puritan work ethic is also a theme of this book, although not called out by name. You don't just meet the minimum requirements."

The idea of exactly what type of "Success" God wants for believers is assumed by the author. It is the same type of success that everyone wants--job, money, family, position, etc.

The controversial portions of this book may mask the many good ideas that believers should follow. For example, Pastor Joel encourages the reader in stewardship, using your abilities to the maximum, being diligent and hardworking, and not blaming others. Every Christian can agree that these are solid Biblical principles, with roots in the Protestant Reformation.

YOU CAN YOU WILL is an inspirational book aimed at believers who see God's favor in their life. These Christians want to take specific action, and this book will definitely light that fire.
